Privacy Policy
Teh's FloorPlanner is currently a no-account planning app. Most project data is saved in your browser so your room plan can come back when you return.
What Is Stored Locally
The app may store project information in your browser, including:
- rooms and room names
- floor plan settings and marked room zones
- furniture items, dimensions, colors, vendors, and notes
- prices and priorities
- an uploaded floor plan image, if you add one
- your onboarding acceptance status
LocalStorage and IndexedDB
Rooms, furniture, prices, priorities, and floor plan data may be saved with localStorage. Uploaded floor plan images may be saved with IndexedDB. This data is stored in your browser on your device unless you choose to share or export something.
Product Lookup
If you paste a product link, product text, or use the lookup tools, that pasted information may be sent to backend services to fetch or estimate product dimensions, names, photos, prices, and other details when possible.
Third-party retailer pages may be requested as part of that lookup. AI or automation may be used to parse product information. Product lookup may not work on every site, and returned details may be inaccurate or incomplete.
No Account System
There is currently no account system. The app does not currently ask you to create an account or sign in to save your plan.
No Selling Personal Data
Teh's FloorPlanner does not sell personal data. This public beta is focused on room planning, product organization, and fit checking.
Affiliate and Third-Party Links
Some product links may be affiliate links, and Teh's FloorPlanner may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links to third-party retailers are governed by those retailers' own privacy policies and terms.
Clearing Your Data
You can remove saved project data by clearing this site's browser data, localStorage, and IndexedDB in your browser settings. The app may also include reset controls for parts of the project data.
Clearing browser data can remove your saved rooms, floor plans, furniture, prices, priorities, uploaded floor plan image, and onboarding acceptance.
Updates and Contact
This policy may be updated as the project changes. Contact/update placeholder: add preferred contact information here before a longer public launch.
